We will be singing the traditional favourites and just in case we have gone rusty, word sheets will be readily available. The event will be outside (rain or shine), so please dress accordingly and make sure your child(ren) have nice warm coats, hat etc that day! You are also most welcome to come in festive attire: the younger pupils most definitely will be, as will any other pupils or staff who wish to.
All our children will be taking part in the event and will be arriving at the Square and Compass for around 3pm and will return to school by 3.30pm. So we can make sure all the children get home safely and with all their belongings, please collect your child from SCHOOL (not the Square and Compass) as normal on Monday.
We will be collecting for the Harrogate Shelter Association’s Afghani Refuge Fund Trust. Further information can be found on the Harrogate Shelter Association website.
Mr Paul Stephenson (from The Square and Compass) has kindly offered to accommodate this event at the pub. If you could reciprocate his generosity and warmth by popping in before or returning afterwards to purchase a drink or light snack it would be appreciated.
PLEASE do join us if you can. A community event to celebrate the advent of Christmas together and in a traditional manner, is an occasion to enjoy and remember, especially for everyone who missed out last year.
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school on 01432 734540 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
